My favorite on the net is www.DeepdiscountDVD.com They've got some of the the lowest prices, especially on new releases and free shipping.

Of course if you don't want to wait then the cheapest store to hit is Best Buy, though Gamestop/Babages/etc have really good prices too, but their variety isn't always that great.

I suggest Best Buy for cheap DVDs. They can pretty much under-cut any competitor, and they have a fairly good selection of anime. If Best Buy doesn't have it, than I suggest going to http://www.animecastle.com. They have most hard to find anime titles at reasonable prices.

BTW, is Digital Eyes any good in terms of service and speed. I've heard mixed things about them. Also how is the speed and service of DeepDiscountDVD?[/url]

Deep Discount I've found to be a little slow, but you get what you pay for. Free shipping in exchange for slow service, I can deal with it. On the plus side you can keep track of your account right on the site. You can see what's shipped, what's been delayed, and I believe you can track shipping too. I like them.

I like to pre-order with Amazon. 25% off. Plus free shipping* for orders over $25. And it's usually trackable.

*Supposedly, it will be slightly slower than standard shipping, but I don't really notice a difference, unless you mistakenly order something during a busy time of year (like I accidentally did).

Digital eyes has cheap anime dvds but to me they had slowest service and shipment. Their online site is okay....I ordered an item that is said to be in stock and it showed up as a pre-order. Then it took a while until they shipped out my items and receiving my item was frustrating. My shipping was priority but it took longer than usually. So I send them an email and 5 days later I received my order. Either they didn't shipped out the item like it said or shipment was lost. The funny thing is that they didn't even response to my email either. I'm not sure if this was a one thing mistake for Digital eyes but if this happens again. Mad I won't shop from there again. I suggest this store because it has used & cheap anime dvds.

I did shop at DVD plant and Deep Discount dvd. Between the two stores, I chose Deep discount for their cheap prices and free shipping. To my opinion, the free shipping didn't take that long (around 5 days to hawaii) and services is good. It takes 2-3 for them to ship out the order if it's in stock. The only I don't like about Deep discount is the online site doesn't tell you if items are in-stock. The only way to find out is to order it.
But other than that I had no problems with them yet.

If you want fast shipping and excellent service. Then I would go with DVD planet. Their online site tells you if it's in stock or pre-order....plus they always up date their site. The dvd prices is more expensive than Digital eyes or Deep discount.

My personal favorite is Best Prices www.uln.com. I've yet to see a boot on their site. Most of their titles that you find at Amazon and Best Buy for $20-$22, you can find there for just under $18, and as long as you're buying more than a couple DVD's, the shipping isn't that bad. The more you buy the better it is.

Whenever I'm buying DVDs I go to www.pricegrabber.com
It's a great place to check prices from a bunch of different stores and they have customer reviews of the stores. They don't always what I'm looking for, but it's always been a great place to start for me. And I do a lot of online shopping because the closest place I can really go shopping is about 100 miles away. I live in the middle of nowhere.
