That's interesting. I hate the moe mascot nonsense, but this one's certainly more unique for that alone.
Though, I'm fairly certain that the word to use here is just "intersex". I'm not sure why so many (well-intentioned) people add that extra bit to a lot of words that generally just plain never use them (see also: "transgendered") |

I know you're just (nonsensically) joking, but please, understand the difference here. Intersex has to do with the body, note that sea slug chan is still a girl. Being transgender has to do with what's in the mind, so it isn't really that related to the topic of this article at all (well, it kind of is but I'm not going to get into that, my point is that this sort of nonsense joke has no relevance to the article) |

Because that would be very, very family unfriendly to a marine park with children to show her genitalia? Also intersex conditions span a wide variety of conditions, and very very rarely means (as far as humans go) that an intersex person has both sets of working genitalia. It can mean they have ambiguous genitalia, or 'normal' looking genitalia of one gender. In fact, many intersex people are sterile.
Depending on how each condition is treated, Intersex does not usually mean that your gender appears ambiguous; even if your genitals might. There are many, many intersex men and women without ambiguous gender appearance, because intersex conditions are almost never a 50/50 gender split; and it's not uncommon that intersex conditions deal with internal systems with no visible phenotype. Some people are unaware they are intersex until the issue gives them health complications later in life.
Transgender and intersex are two different things. Is it that hard to use google/wikipedia? Bad joke too anyways. So edgy. For reference list of intersex conditions I understand we're talking about an anthropomorphic characterization of said sea slug, but people are badly uneducated about intersex conditions here. |

Lili-Hime, it was a joke in the sense of one body having parts of both sexes/genders. If Caitlin still has the manly parts, then it is arguably similar to a hermaphrodite/intersex.
