Hmm. The CG look good, but it doesn't seem to animate very well. It's very choppy and sluggish looking. Might have to watch this one just for the story.

After seeing the new trailer, and re-watching the original trailer, I'm even more enthused about seeing the series and the compilation movies. From what could be seen, it appears the level of detail, especially in the background, is fairly high. Looking forward to it.

I'm not a fan of the art/animation style being used, but I'm a huge fan of the Appleseed manga. If it can finally have a good adaptation then the art-style is the least important thing to me.

Same here I am curious about the story too. Can't wait to watch it.

Hmm...I'll give it a shot. I'm a bit Shirow fan so I'll watch any adaptions of his works. I wonder if this is the TV series that they had been talking about. But wasn't Aramaki supposed to be working on that project? The CG designs are something to get used to not really my cup of tea when compared to the first two features.

It looks like it's getting the Ghost in the Shell: SAC treatment and being turned into a tv series.

The first clip is where I could see some choppiness. The second didn't seem so bad to me. I'm wondering if part of it is intentional as part of the fighting sequences? The first clip had more of those scenes. In any case, it's Appleseed so I will definitely give it a shot.
