I bet any anime fan would be ecstatic and proud of his/her school if they were to hear that an anime show was based around it.

Esctatic about the thing that they're all become a living dead in the anime and manga?
So, then "quarantine zone" is located in Yokohama. Quite close to the Tokyo otaku for began to accumulate in large quantities, given the interest in the series.

given these zombies are like the walking dead..
weapons of choice for me would be
chainsaw, flame thrower, katana and bladed tonfa + heavy body armor from head to toe
it's time for a rescue!!

Too much free time? That's a matter of opinion.

Well, it depends on the type of anime. If it was for a porno, some might not be. If my high school (Deer Valley) was used as the basis for an anime that had my 2 favorite dog breeds (Akitas/American Akitas and Labs), then I would be happy.

and u would be dead in less than 10 mins:D With no skill with katana or tomfa's they would be useless like the spoons. Heavy armor = no mobility = overrun by zombies in mere seconds u stepped out side. Flame thrower - decent until gas runs out, chainsaw = meh....
in summary - rethink choice of weaponry, u still have time:D

I don't think that it costs a much time, because close coordinates of the building is given as a hint in the manga chapter.
The finding of real places that isn't known well without that (like the prototype of Asahigaoka School and places from the Non Non Biyori - yes, it's real too) is more troubling.

I doubt many of those are found by someone from Tokyo deciding "I will randomly wander the country until I've found it!" It was found by someone who already lives there, or has relatives there, or vacations there, or who knows the mangaka is from there, or... it only takes one viewer out of thousands to identify a place.

Not much of a discovery when the Latitude and Longitude were literally provided, judging by that manga image from the Tweet.

Perhaps the fans will do a live zombie reenactment at the school.

you watch too many movies..
you think one would carry all that on his body..
weapons of choice.. what to carry is up to that person
heavy BODY armor-- there's a different.. don't be thinking about mech now..
i'm wearing body armor when i'm on shift anyway.. l.. if heavy body armor.. it would be like SWAT..
so yes.. you can still move around just fine.. unless you are so weak that you can't even carry some extra weight on your body?
also these zombies are like the walking dead.. just walking normally is probably fine as well.. no need to run
anyway.. yes.. you can not go zombie killing without chainsaw.. there's no fun in it

In light of this real location of the grounds of School-Live, I think Negishi and Yokohama would make excellent places to celebrate Halloween with some zombie-slaying and ghost-hunting.
Edit: Ah, amazing! I've reached 2000 posts!
