Gonna end up supporting this since I really like the art and the Koike relation. Really disappointed about the lack of a print version.

I really wish there were some support tiers between $8 and $200. I realize I can just pledge an amount I want in between those values, but most potential backers probably won't think about that...and what would they be getting for it? I think this is one of those cases where having DMP-like Digital-only, Print-only, and Digital+Print support tiers would be helpful. Or even just a "your name in the book" tier.

this is such an awesome idea; I really hope this mangaka gets to met such a goal. To think how many vapid stories with worse art sells tons of volumes...oh well, I know how it works and it's not really those mediocre manga's fault...but you can't help to feel a tiny bit bad when others have to struggle to be published.

Well, optional print versions are mentioned in the article. I hope this works out for him because that is some serious talent.
