he may have been fictional but his charcther spock and star trek as a whole has inspired generations....it inspired us and brought us closer... he was an idol to us all and true friend to everyone around him to the end...

I didn't know he voiced characters in other games, I only heard of that Star Trek game (forgot the name).

Honestly, that's something a handful of friends of mine have been wondering as well. To make it worse, his Japanese counterpart, Chikao Ohtsuka, also passed away last month as well. So if they haven't completed voice acting both on the Japanese and English side of things, we're definitely going to have a new voice for Master Xehanort. Really going to have a hard time imagining what either voice is going to sound like if it's not Nimoy or Ohtsuka. At any rate, I wish his friends and family well. I just heard about this via my smartphones news alert. It's just sad because I watched Star Trek. My mother was also a fan of that show. He is indeed going to be missed.

Wow, I guess that means he will no longer show up in the third rebooted Star Trek film coming out next year in time for the 50th anniversary of the franchise. At least the next film will definitely be dedicated to him for sure.
Mr. Nimoy, you're a great guy and we will all miss you! You lived a long and prosperous life and we will never forget you! RIP

As a 7 year old boy I sat and watched the flickering images on our old Black & White Console TV as Leonard Nimoy and the other Star Trek actors brought the future to life. It was a future that I, and many others, wanted so much to see.
