I assume Lafiel from Banner of the Stars doesn't fit the definition of an elf? Otherwise she'd be a given...

Is Pirotess from the "Record of Lodoss War" franchise named after Pirot, a town in Serbia?

I'm surprised that Tiffania Westwood didn't make the list.

Like I said before, I didn't get what was up with some of the choices, since they were either already available or never ever licensed in the first place.
If people said "Pokemon" I would assume maybe they meant subbed, which still wouldn't count since the subbed version has never been licensed... It will never ever happen, but I would for sure buy Day 1 if it did :/

I think she does (even though she's a space elf) and belongs on the list.
BTW, notice that Kino's Journey was on last weeks poll with 2.5% wanting it rescued. Shouldn't have that one been thrown out too? The last release was put out in December 2011 and is still in stock in several online stores.

Good list, lots of dark elves. In fact, it should have all been dark elves with characters like Marlene from Dragon Knight 4, Nina and Miria from Elf Hime Nina, and two from Kuroinu.

Why? It has great humor, interesting social commentary, likable and fleshed out characters (though with it only being 1 cour, the whole cast doesn't get solid development, it's mostly just the two main girls, Petralka and Myucel, and Shinichi), and an ending that wraps things up while still leaving room for another season, if it ever gets one.
While the fan service is arguably a bonus, it just feels odd to watch Outbreak Company just for that reason alone when it has a bunch going for it.
Were you being sarcastic? I can't tell

Although I've also been known to refer to the Abh as "space elves," only one particular family of Abh actually have the elf-like ears. Hence Lafiel shouldn't count.
I'm familiar with all but the NGNL girl and find the rest of the picks to be indisputable. (Wouldn't have thought of the SAO pick on my own, but I agree that she fits.) There may be other worthy picks out there but I'm hard-pressed to think of any on the same level.

Judith is still my personal favorite elf girl:
She's a Krityan not an elf, but close enough.
