I am a David Weber fan that has become an anime fan. And I hit upon the web site for the aforementioned anime over a year ago, and nothing has changed.

In last month's Anime Insider, I read a brief article about the production, mainly for taking so long, and for being a joint enterprise of US and Japanese companies.

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything else besides this brief mention?

Hoping that an ADV rep of whatever color will see this and let us know.

I saw that as well. My jaw hit the floor because I thought that it had disappeared into a black hole or something.

Can't wait to see what they've done with the story.

There is definitely enough Honor material to fill at least a 26 episode series, although I tend to prefer Bujolds many Miles Vorkosigan novels. I love military SF, and the Weber novels have pleanty of action and would convert well into anime. I'm currently rereading Moorcock's Elric books, and laughed at the point in the beginning where Elric attempts the forbidden summoning ritual. Talking about equivalent exchange!

Only 26 episodes? Yeah...for the first book(season) there's more than 10 Harrington books not to mention the short stories written in the same universe.

And Bujold's Vorkosigan tales are terrific. Have you read the Curse of Chalion? That's even better, IMO.
