Cool that they're streaming Mononoke. Been wanting to check that out for a while, but I was a bit iffy on buying the DVDs blind.

Mononoke, one of my favourite shows is on Crunchyroll, and it is unavailable in the UK. Would it of been that hard to get a license for the UK.

Don't wait. This is one of the best bargains in all of anime. The twelve-episode Mononoke DVD costs less than $15 online. However, you should watch the prequel, the "Bake Neko" arc of Ayakashi Samurai Horror Tales, first. That costs just $9. So for less than $25 you can get fifteen of the finest anime episodes ever made

Bake Neko: http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/catalogmgr/browse/item/73880/4/0/0
Mononoke: http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/catalogmgr/browse/item/102173/4/0/0

It's too bad Crunchyroll didn't acquire the rights to Ayakashi from Toei. The first two stories are fairly mediocre, but "Bake Neko" is remarkable.

I really like that CR has been picking up some of this tokusatsu stuff. I started checking out Ultraman Leo this weekend and it was a blast. Their sources are super low res though.
