Now with Golden Boy, I wonder if the rest of Discotek's licenses will be streaming on CR

Comic Party is one of my favorite anime (let's pretend season 2 never happened...) so I'd love for it to be on CR. I already have Right Stuf's limited edition release of volume 1 but I might partially double-dip and get Discotek's release anyways.

Makes sense, now Discotek, Sentai Filmorks, and AoA are all using Crunchyroll as their streaming service against Funimation.
Happy to see Golden Boy and Bokurano coming to CR though. It'll be interesting to see how CR takes on the spring season lineup and maybe tries to do what Funimation did this Winter.

Glad Golden Boy will be exposed to a whole new generation, as you can probably tell by my avatar.

The fact that Funi also has titles that are streamed on CR could mean that they are using it against each other.

Like a number of things in the show…
I, too, am really glad to see GB getting some streaming love. Yes, it was an ecchi series, but it also was fun, well-made, and fulfilling. It's a rare breed, and the kind of show that some of today's ecchi or "have-it-both-ways" anime makers should take a look at. I think a good number of today's ecchi anime fans may still find something to like in it, despite its age (and the hilarious dub is being posted, too).

According to ANN, Golden Boy was shown on MTV. I don't recall seeing it on the English version, so was this only in German and Russian?

Isn't Bokurano just a DVD release?

It is nice of CR to announce it quite ahead of time, as opposed to most of this season's shows.
