This basically confirms what i have suspected. Despite this being a recap of the Tv series they said they would add new footage and the new footage would most likely tie into the events of the second movie which is entirely new material.
Well the tv series is different from the manga series. in the Manga Hiei was Kongo second in command and sister ship so i would imagine she has large role to play. can't wait to see it

Is this Yamato finally showing up or someone else? I've followed the Manga for a while. Yamato is the flagship, she a big deal to the male lead of the show.
Movie being a rehash does not excite me, with new footage does change my view on it. It just devalues the series. Just make another season and move on is what i think they should do unless their not making their money for sales.

Nope. She's the Mao who played Luka Millfy aka Gokai Yellow in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. Clips of said show was used in Power Rangers Super Megaforce.
