While I agree, with monthly manga often being twice the page length of weekly manga, you might be able to fit more material into the episodes.

I just started reading the manga two weeks ago. Smile
I think with the exception of the first two chapters, I think the chapters will either be split into two episodes, or that the anime will be 13 episodes.

I'm not huge on the art for this adaption. I'm sure it will grow on me, but I really like the art design of the manga, so I wish they would have gone with that a bit more.

I for one am liking the art. The adaption has enough it just might be prolonged but hopefully flows correctly. CANNOT WAIT ITS GOING TO BE AWESOME. Although I do agree Hyakuya is looking a bit dull compared to his manga counterpART~get it.

Still too early for this.
Also, the art change is weird, it makes Yuu and Micha look like they're 12.

What?! But that's exactly how Yuu looks in the manga now. They make him more baby faced as the chapters go.

But it looks gorgeous, and i think it does highly resemble the manga.

I had kind of low expectations for how the anime art would look, thinking there's no way it could be half as pretty as the manga, but I do like this.

What?!

For example, compare manga Micha to anime Micha: http://i.imgur.com/rzOkuKH.png

There's a pretty stark difference.

The more I hear about the complaints of the anime artwork, the more I don't want to read the manga or watch the show.

I'm not really seeing one. Although i don't really care about Mika anyway.

Yuu and Guren looks spot on.

It isn't wise to base entertainment through other people's taste and preferences. You may actually like it.

The artwork is nothing comparing to how trashy the premise is. Takaya Kagami as novelist had quite average, mediocre success with Legendary Legend of Legendaries (or something) and the other manga, as we can see in the ratings.

But maybe the premise will be executed so well that the anime will be good this time around?
