Ah staff change....
Well despite this, I am definitely still looking forward to this. Good to know the show is not forgotten yet. Hope to see a PV soon.

I'm ready for more Hachiman.
How much light novel material is there left to make this season?

6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 9, 10 comes out shortly and I suspect 11 should be out before the anime starts in the spring. So really about the same as s1 which did the first 6 volumes as 6.5 and 7.5 had a chapter each already done in s1 ep13 and the OVA.

We're screwed! Feel is one of the worst animation studios (if their are a primary choice), come on, maybe first season had bad animation and char design but story-wise it was done pretty nicely.
I didn't watch a good show from them so, with this brilliant novel to adapt they can change my opinion but I don't think it'll be good enough.

Well, the first season supposedly covers material from the first 6 volumes, and there's 9 volumes and 4 short story collections in total...

At least it's the director of Outbreak Company, which I really enjoyed. I can't speak for other people, of course and I'm unaware of the reputation this director has. Sub-par Animation is a minor problem in slice-of-life, in my opinion. I hope they can stick to the source material as much as possible so that we can at least enjoy some good Hachiman antics.

Woe. I seriously feel like throwing a tantrum Hachiman's lovely wit was the only reason I bought the DVD set *sigh* Fan girls do have standards. Ugh. Talk about a total joy killer.

I'm pretty sure the article says they're keeping the same writer {and cast} so the Hachiman, Yui and Yukino dialogue should be fine. I'm feeling ok with every except what's going to happen plotwise. Waiting until spring unless I check up on LN spoilers first.
But I won't be doing that.... yet.

Oh man, bad news just keep rolling in. First DEEN gets Log Horizon 2, and now Feel gets this.

Who cares, long as Haciman wit is still there.

Eh. Most of the problems with anything Feel has adapted are more due to bad source material.

I mean this is case in point. The whole thing with DEEN getting Log Horizon 2 is so overblown. Can barely tell it changed studios.

You can "barely tell" the artwork changed between the two seasons? Wow... that's just... amazing.

Well, I don't usually go back to check article commentary I've written in, but somehow I ended up back here. Anyway, have you seen Feel's effort of the season? They do some cruel and unusual things to the idea of animation in Ushinawablablabla. It actually makes me rather uneasy about how the new Yahari might turn out.
