Awww, you would think that appearance of Cure Unlovely would boost HaCha Precure's ratings.

Something topped Sazae-san? O_o
But then, its ratings HAVE been pretty low. |

Its uncommon but it happens. Though I've heard that the special wasn't all that good. |

Is the first time I see an anime is more popular and gets more rating than Sazae San.

Sazae-san typically gets its lowest score of the year during the last week of august because NTV, a rival channel, airs their 24h annual special program which brings in great ratings (that's also why Kindaichi is at 8.0 because the program started not much later). A previous One Piece special had beaten Sazae-san by 0.1% 2 years ago during the exact same week. However, the last program to beat Sazae-san in a typical week was the 'Lupin III vs Detective Conan' special in march 2009 (animenewsnetwork.com/news/2009-04-06/japanese-anime-tv-ranking-march-23-29). The last weekly anime program to do so...probably in the early 00s.

Not to say the TV series will beat Sazae-san but it can certainly be around place 3 or so. I still liked the Special but it wasn't what i wanted it to be. They could have shown all the Strawhat's traning and all but instead they went for something that could have been made when de time skip actually was in de anime, they choose not to show anything that adds something to the story and give nothing away that hasn't been in de anime yet. |
