The fandom infighting will exceed some sizeable number!

What happened to Nicktoons? Are they still airing it, or did they let it go?

So that's like almost 2 years to get through, right? For someone who gets tired of how stretched out DBZ became, is Kai really any kind of improvement for speeding shit along or do they just cut everything that isn't fighting?

The Dragon Ball Z anime ran for 291 episodes. Kai will end at 165. If you go with Kai, be prepared for awful music placement, jarring transitions between 1980s/early 90s cell animation and digital traces, as well as changes between good animation days and the not so good ones. I also can't forget the abysmal new music score for the Boo storyline!

DBZ Kai might be replacing Bleach or AoT....or Space Dandy(the 12:30 slot)....or They start the anime segment at 11:00 like the good old times.

I hope they show it unedited, Shiny Popo is hilarious though. But yeah, with one day a week, they would never get anywhere if they showed old DBZ, Kai is probably the way to go here (at least until we get a weekday Toonami back, hopefully one day... one day....)

Also, hooray! Bebop is back! It doesn't matter that they've played that anime more than anything else, it's a mainstay at this point and new fans need to know of it.

I still prefer old Z (and uncut) over Kai. It adds more story to it. When watching Kai, it felt like the animation transition is out of whack.

I definitely wish they were showing regular DBZ. Kai is just an awkward Frankenstein experience to watch.

Kai cuts out a lot of filler, but it's still considerably slower than a 1:1 adaptation of the manga would be. But, no, nothing that's in the manga is cut afaik, so you'll still get the full canon story.

It's better than watching GT but isn't Nick still showing DBZ?

Please explain why it will be an awkward experience? Do you like watching filler?

Kai has less filler and a better English dub (more accurate, better acting).

It kind of beats the pants off of the original version in terms of convenience and fidelity.

DBZ is great and all (the original much more than Kai) but I've kinda gotten bored of it. I know it was a Toonami staple back in the day... but I'd prefer to see newer shows on the block.

Also Why is Cowboy Bebop coming back? Wasn't there big drama a few months ago about how they took it off after it being on [as] forever? I thought that all just calmed down... so they are now putting it back?

Confused

Sigh.

At least it's Kai, which has infinitely better VAing and gets rid of a lot of the padding and filler.

They stopped airing DBZ and GT sometime ago.
