Gaim seems to be a magnet for these crossovers. Showa VS Heisei, Super Sentai, and now Kikaider. Will Gavan make another crossover here like he did in Gokaiger?

[New] Gavan crossed over in Go-Busters, to promote the new movie, which did very poorly in Japan. I doubt Gavan will appear again for a while. Kikaider is being done to promote the Kikaider reboot.

Given Urobuchi's writing method*, I suspect that even with the month delay on start, we still have too many weeks, so the crossovers are being done to fill time.

*Urobuchi writes the ending first, and then works out how they got there. Added to that the fact that there's precious little filler in Gaim, it would be hard to add in more episodes to an already laid out story. With rumors of only 45 episodes, even with the month delay, we're still 3 weeks short of the new series starting in September. FruiTrain and this take up 2 of those weeks.
