Very pleased by this news; I had just been wondering about some way to request that they do that movie! Thanks to Justin Sevakis for doing an article on it a few weeks ago.
Cybersix is an interesting choice, too. Pretty good straightforward superhero stuff that's more emotionally subdued than usual for that kind of thing.

Cool, after Justin's article I was really interested in looking into Prince of the Sun, this will be a nice piece of history to own.

Sherlock Hound lives!
(Now I don't have to guard my old Pioneer copies under lock and key...)
And speaking of unguarded Pioneer, Card Captor Sakura: Movie 1.

First with Castle of Cagliostro and Ringing Bell, and now with this latest batch, Discotek's on fire with their announcements for the past few months!
Will definitely keep an eye out for the Cardcaptor Sakura movie. If that one does well, hopefully the series can get a stateside release in the near future.

Although think Movie 1 had the US Cardcaptors dub--
The series was already off by the time Movie 2 came out, and Pioneer gave that one a "real" dub.

This. THIS!
This is fantastic news! Cybersix is such a well beloved show in Canada and a complete series collection only serves to make the fans rejoice!

They granted wish! I always wanted to see Prince of the Sun get a DVD release in America. The first film by Isao Takahata is a must own. I'm also pleased that Sherlock Hound will be re-released, now I can replace my six volume DVDs with a box set of that series.

No, Viz previously released them on DVD. Unfortunately there's a lot of bootlegs out there which are dupes of the Viz DVDs, same logos and artwork, straight rips.

I'm buying it all
Here's hoping Discotek will eventually re-license Ronin Warriors and Zoids: Chaotic Century/Guardian Force.

Personally, I'd be more interested in them licensing the original Sei Jushi Bismarck, so people could get to know the real of story of "Saber Rider (or rather "Fireball") and the Star Sheriffs".
As for Cardcaptor Sakura: the Movie, I'm assuming by "English" they mean "Cardcaptors: the Movie" which as most people know isn't really an English version at all. The only way I would buy this if it had both languages as a selectable feature for just one movie, rather than including two separate movies (e.g., on a "flipper" disc). I don't want to to support a release that brings back the "one version for the fans, one version for everyone else" disparity. To this end, if they ever re-release the TV series (which is admittedly unlikely for this company), I'm hoping it will just be the Japanese version with English subtitles.

Sherlock Hound being rereleased? Nice. Saw this just a few months ago subbed on UTV channel and i have to say, its pretty great. What happened TMS? You're shows used to have impressive animation in the past.
Can't wait for Cardcaptors but until sep. 30? Thats after my birthday. Why must you make me suffer? The anticipation and wait is killing me, almost as much as waiting for the blu ray will. First discotek purchase (might get jin roh though).
Oh and that Hols movie was the one from the pile of shame not too long ago, right? What a coincidence.
