This getting released here was basically inevitable, but I am not all thrilled about the other big franchise I care about being yanked from NISA.

Nice. I can't wait to get-
Well...
I hope Idea Factory will have limited editions for their games then.
It's a shame that NISA lost another property, a big (for them) one at that.

I'm glad the first one is getting a US release. I played the first game and the battle system was crap compared to the new one they have for it. Of course, the first game was made on a budget of a sandwich too and in secret so it doesn't surprise me too.

My wallet is going to cry with all of these games localizing...
I may consider getting this since it's coming to the Vita.

Physical, uncensored, they have my money. Digital, uncensored, they most likely have my money.

Looking at the picture gallery, I don't like how they changed the logo though.

How did they 'lose' another property? They are still doing the idol game. IF said they basically only do games that others pass on and in NISA's case, they probably wanted to put it out, but ended up getting too much on their plate to work on. Have you seen the amount of work they have going for the rest of the year? >_> I'm guessing they partnered up to also get it released.

They lost Atelier and now theyve lost Neptunia. Before they had first picks on both series, now they do not. Only thing NISA really has left is Disgaea.

NIS hasn't lost anything, if anyone lost its the US fans. All we got of the atelier remakes were digital only, and the release of Dusk was pretty bad. Koei is just a lousy company.
NIS is doing fine, they expanded into the anime market and hold some much beloved titles like Natsume and Friends, they have their own self created franchise Disgaea which has always been the highest rated series they put out, plus they have Fairy Fencer coming out, a game involving 2/3rds of the original FF team and some other heavy weights in addition to a few other titles.
NIS will be just fine, if anything we will get the short end of the stick.

This was bound to happen, a few months ago IFI asked on their forums about localization related to HDN. (mainly the fact people were angry at NISA's piss poor translations of the V scripts).
Odds are we're going to get a new script that doesn't have the stupid NISA added problems. Like the fact they made Blanc curse 10x more, Noire's lines were rewritten to make her sound like an ass.
I for one am happy that IFI is taking HDN and releasing it.

Erm... They've had an official title for that for a while now...
