this topic is about an anime that you like and how would yu change its ending.
the anime i would choose to pick is Fate/Stay Night. i feel like the ending for this anime was incomplete. the way i would change it is by having Saber and Shirou be together in the end, Saber in the end says "This time its going to be a long dream" and then they end it there. very incomplete
[EDIT: Please use spoiler tags and better grammar next time or I'm automatically locking your threads. -TK

Aside from the obvious "the anime should never ever end.." response I would change Chrno Crusade's ending, since i felt R.O.D's ending was pretty good.
Chrno Crusade's ending I would change it so of course Rosetta and Chrno LIVE..... plus Aion either stays dead or there's an explanation of how he comes back, and that the show doesn't just leave you wondering what would happen without anyone to stop Aion.... The main thing is that I would keep Chrno and Rosetta alive though.....

Kind of a pointless question, at least to me...my favorite anime is my favorite anime in large part because I liked the ending and didn't think that it had to be improved.

My favorite anime is Haibane Renmei, and honestly I wouldn't change the way it ended in the least. The ending was perfect, which is something I can't say often about many of the anime series I've seen as I have a tendency to find the endings disappointing in some respect.
I'd say the anime I enjoyed the most with the ending I'd most like to see changed is Chrono Crusade. Like Maxima I'd like to see Rosette and Chrono survive or at least some meaning applied to their sacrifice. While the ending was intriguing in a sense, it sort or trivialized everything that they went through to see them die, Aion return and Joshua lose his mind in a sense.

Hmm... funny, my favorite anime never had a real ending and I still wouldn't change it. Sure it's kind of a downer to think I never saw it end, but it's more fun to think that the characters are still going at it, with the hijinks and whatnot. Besides, the manga had nice ending.
But then I wouldn't want to see any anime end differently, even the one's I disliked. I guess I'm kind of weird that way, but I look at it in a couple of ways. First off, I don't think I could end a story better than those who created it. So then if I had some kind of magic wand to make the creators change an ending I didn't like, who's to say they wouldn't botch it up again. It's best just to leave things as they are.

If it had been me, I would have changed the Berserk ending so that it would show that they actually escaped from the Eclipse. Instead of the dumbest open ending you could ever see in the history of anime.

I would've changed the ending to my favourite anime by continuing the series. Since my favourite anime of all time is definately Twelve Kingdoms saying "I'd continue it" is pretty legitimate considering the show has yet to cover all of the books, of which the series was incomplete at the time the anime came out.
I'd probably say the same for Suzuka (my second fave right now since it was my most recently finished). It was a bit open but I'd liked to have seen one more episode that shows Akitsuki's and Asahina's relationship when they're going out instead of just them holding hands and walking to school.

My favorite anime was S-CRY-Ed and the ending was pretty plain all they did was fight ... again.... and the same result they tied. they should have done something significent.

FLCL. Stretch it. 6 episodes of pure, liquid gold are only six episodes of pure, liquid gold. 13 or so episodes of pure, liquid gold might just be better. Ah well, hopefully Gainax will get out of its mess and start producing real masterpieces like they had done so before. Nothing amazing.
Oh, and Cowboy Bebop...
Nah. No need to change that.

Galaxy Angel: I wouldn't. So far it is the only series I have ever watched where I wanted a specific style of ending and actually got it.
I wish they had gotten more personal than they did though. I was kinda hoping the actresses would throw around the names of their respective seiyuu at each other (as if it was actually them in the show). Alas, it was not to be, but I'll definitely still take what I got.
