If they are releasing Nekomonogatari White as a separate set, are they gonna be releasing the other arcs of Second Season as separate sets?

Hanekawa is my least favorite girl, but I'll still get this once it comes out.

Was about to pre-order until I saw Aniplex.

I do not support Aniplex productions locally or from Japan.

My current purchases are still Shingeki no Kyojin BDs (standing at 8 volumes, factory sealed) and Kill la Kill BDs limited editions (standing at 1 volumes, factory sealed). Not sure what to purchase, next.

Not a fan of this franchise whatsoever but it's nice that Aniplex has apparently stopped charging the outrageous Japanese prices in the American market. Those sound like very great and affordable deals.

Not really.
You are paying $50 for 4 episodes, then $60 for 5 episodes.
Not exactly reasonable really is it...

I just hope they release the rest of season 2 as one set and not in arcs.

Troll or dense? Better not look at who made those BDs.

They were for fewer episodes. The price for Black would be three times as expensive if it were a whole series.

I'm hoping there will be non-LEs of these because I don't really want to pay $110 for nine episodes if I can help it. But the fact there hasn't been a non-LE for Nisemonogatari yet makes me doubt it.

Runtime = price?

Nope.avi

Look at the set. Look at the release. Now look at, E.G upcoming Sentai releases. See the difference? I don't think you need to look for more than two seconds to see that there is a major different in the releases...

That's right, it's not a BAREBONES.

There are extras. Quality art boxes, art books, art cards etc. These things cost money to produce, and are still rare in the western market, and will therefore likely have an extra $ added.

Not to mention you'll be getting the Japanese masters, so video & audio quality will be as high as it possibly can be.

Hopefully this cleared some things up for you Wink.

Personally i'll be picking these up ASAP, i've been waiting to watch the rest of the series Very Happy!

Yeah, those things don't really mean much to me. Goody for you if they blow your skirt up. So for me, it's $110 for nine eppies.

To be fair, it's not clear what kind of extra these two sets will have, aside from the post cards and booklet. There's no mention of any art box, soundtrack or cast commentary, which leads me to believe that for these two... what you see is what you'll get. Madoka was slightly more expensive, but at least it included A TON of extras. For the price they're asking for and the episode count, these two sets seem a bit underwhelming.
