Those are some damn good dubs there. I don't think he's done anything for a while, but he was exceptionally talented, and he'll be greatly missed.

He also did some voice acting as well under an alias. Notably he was Inspector Zenigata in Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro and Majin Buu in Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout.

The Metropolis dub was quite good.

I'm really shocked and saddened to read this. I was a big fan of much of Animaze's dub work, including some he directed himself like Metropolis. He had some memorable comic voice performances too.

Wow. May he RIP. He was in charge of some of the best dubs. Shame most dubs now days suck. People could learn from him

The US Rendition/Manga dub of Giant Robo may not be accurate but god damn is it a blast to listen to. Really sad to hear about his passing. One of the best dub directors out there.

Regarding the photograph credit, it is actually ultimately from this review of Bang Zoom's Adventures in Voice Acting DVD, so I assume it is from that and not the Akira DVD (though I have seen neither myself).

I admittedly didn't know who he was until I saw this, but he had quite a few good dubs under his name.

RIP

RIP Kevin Seymour, whilst I'm afraid I didn't recognise the name (I'm useless at names), reading the list of his work is like reading a list of some of the most enjoyable dubs I've heard (and an awful lot of my early anime exposure Sad).

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Ah, how many here remember US Renditions?

Not a great first step in US commercial anime, but one of THE first commercial steps, back when you'd sell body parts just to get a commercially subbed VHS of anything (let alone Gunbuster).
