Ok so I was watching Brotherhood last night, and I couldn't help but notice (i've seen it before, but I didn't really think about it) that the timeline on Their mother's tombstone is 1878-1904. Now, simple math tells us she would've been 25-26 when she died. Now looking at Edward, you can tell he's at least 15 years old which means she got married around 11 or 12 years old... Hohenheim we know on the other hand has been around for thousands of years... does this mean Hohenheim was a pedophile, or was this just a really big oversight on the author's part?

Or you're forgetting the fact that Ed and Al were much younger (9 and 8, I think?) when their mother died. That would put her into an entirely more reasonable age range for the era involved.

Oh yeah, you're right. I forgot to figure in the timeskip. My folly.
