Ever since AKB48 released the "Koi Suru Fortune Cookie" ("The Fall-in-Love Fortune Cookie") music video back in June.

Sounds like a direct copy from the wikipedia page of this song... the official English translation would be "Fortune Cookie in Love" which is used as the song title for the English vocal version released by JKT48.

The original music video was shot in Fukuoka, the hometown of graduating member Mariko Shinoda.

She already graduated on 22th July ^__^;;;... and although it is true that Shinoda Mariko was from Fukuoka, the main point that it was shot there, was because Sashihara Rino who took 1st place this year and earned the center position for that song is from Fukuoka (Oita) as well.

And now I remember Bamboo tweeting a few days back about watching a lot of AKB videos with elderly people in them, it all makes sense now!

I'll change it; thanks!

Neither of those translations made a damned bit of grammatical sense to me.

This is probably as cute as Crayon Pop's BarBarBar dance and it's subsequent parody following after that and the Gwiyomi phenomenon, I even find that song kinda kawaii/aegyo.

Not gonna lie, before catching this youtube, the only song I've ever heard from AKB48 was from Wreck it Ralph. And man was that track some seriously sweet, high powered sugar pop or what? No small wonder they're popular.
