Hello,

just some extra tidbits about the Appleseed article I think you´re interested to know:

+ fisrt, the original Appleseed anime was an one-shot OVA, not a feature movie

+ the new movie will be produced by Pioneer LDC

+ it´ll be directed by Akira Nishizaki (a newcomer I guess, the only work records I could dig out concern lyric works for some anime-related soundtrack CDs)
