As Rockman fans probably already know, there is a new addition to the Rockman series. "Rockman ZX" and over the past few days, all new products have been released for the series including "Rockman ZX Works" guide, "Rockman Zero Official Complete Works" which gives all the information on secret locations, unlockables, and overall the history of Rockman ZX. Before I get started on the topic question, the game releases in North America on September 12, 2006 for the Nintendo DS.
Now, how many of you are pushing for an anime based on the ZX series? OR do you even think something like this will happen? In my opinion, I feel that an anime on the ZX series is a strong possibility. Why? - Here are my supports for my thoughts.. I feel this way because WAY back on June 30th, there was an anime that was released by Kids Goo. But, it is still unclear if this was pointing to an anime series or just cutscenes for the game. Heatman, of Atomic Fire has got his hands on the first few chapters of the ZX Manga! And has translated them. Usually in my opinion, if theres a manga then there is going to be, or theres a strong chance, for an anime. There is also some of Capcom Japan's websites that give alot of information regarding the series. Which leads me to believe that there is a ZX Anime series in the works. Although Keiji Inafune never hinted such thing. All in all, who really knows? It's apparent that the number of game sales somehow affects such a decision. But it doesn't hurt to hope. |

There's been a longstanding manga series for the original Rockman series of games, but there has been no series devoted to it outside of the US. Same for the X series. Then again, the possibility of an anime ultimately depends on the sales of the games. The traditional side-scrolling Rockman games don't seem to generate the same interest as they did when they were fresh in the 80's. I wouldn't keep my fingers crossed on this one, despite the doors that .EXE may have opened. I also can't imagine a TV series based on the game being all that entertaining in the long run.
