Am I allowed to quote pics at all. I remember when two users quoted pics. One was from a thread about Bobobo getting censored, and the other was from a thread about the Transformers movie trailer.

It's not really against the rules, but it wastes bandwidth of wherever that pic came from. So to be courteous, in a way, I believe it would be best not to quote them. Plus, they sometimes tend to take up a lot of screen space. In fact, if I find big enough pics, I'd recommend they be hyperlinks instead. It would cut download time for dial-up users, take up less space, etc. etc.
The truck pic is ok for posting just once, but some of the bigger ones like in the DVD shelves thread are quite large, and hence need the shrinkage. |

Also it kinda fits into the rule for not overly quoting. But ya if you are going to quote an image just say the person who originally posted it.
Also Tony brings up a good point, I remember when I was on dial up pictures would make viewing a forum such a pain. So having the same picture load over and over is a little bit of a pain. Till next time, Delta Kiral |
