Man, every time I watch Karas (which has been a million times by now), the soundtrack sends shivers down my spine. But while the Praque Symphony Orchestra in 6.1 channel sound is a thrilling, mind-blowing experience, the most mesmerizing song of all is the Japanese song they play during the credits, and in some of the Japanese trailers for the series. It made me tear up and cry a little at the sheer awesomeness that is this movie.
Can anybody PLEASE tell me the artist and the name of this song, and suggest where I could perhaps find it (PM me if you want). I simply must acquire this song, one where or another. Thanks! - JR |

It sounds like you're talking about the closing theme, "Selenite" by Rurutia. That's actually the only song I know from the OAV (or movie, if you wish). |

Ah yes, that's the song, thanks! JoshuaStChristopher actually pointed me to it earlier in a private message, but I appreciate you making the effort as well.
I have the song now, and it's wonderful! Now if only they'd release the OST for the Prague Symphony Orchestra's music... That would be splendid. |

I bought a CD that has this song on it, it was album titled "Meme" by Japanese artist "Rurutia". That way I got other similar sounding songs, although "Selenite" is definitely the best one on the CD. The other songs were pretty good too though, good composer.
