I actually found InuYasha had a lot to do with 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking Glass.' It is pretty similar, only it is an anime and it takes place in Feudal Japan. Takahashi probably got the idea from tthose books. Take a look at the similarities-

*Girl falls through well
*Girl must catch mysterious being
*Girl meets up with many odd companions.

And the finale of FMA. I was this already a few months ago, but I'll be checking out the dub anyways. It never hurts to watch my fave show twice!

Alice falls through a rabbit hole, not a well.

"(YTV)
-Friday March 24 9:00pm - Episode 133 "The Woman Who Loved Sesshomaru, Part 1" (Repeats Sat Mar 25 2:30am)

Jeremy Nguyen, 23, cosplaying as Sesshomaru, is introduced to Lana Caldwell, 17, cosplaying as an indistinguishable member of the J-rock band “Malice Mizer” at the 2004 Otakon. This is their story."

Wha? Is this a joke, or is this really an episode of Inuyasha? *feels like she missed something*

If it's a joke, I don't get it either. Must be my lack of sense of humor, or their lack of writing bad jokes... but anyways, I'm really looking forward to the FMA ending. I really like what was said about the series not being "milked" until no one wanted to ever see it again.

I'm kinda pissed that Canada still gets Naruto, I have Spirited Away on DVD so I've seen it too many times but I'm sure some people are happy to watch it, oh well. Congrats... what no Canada joke? I kinda wish something else was shown after Spirited Away besides Inuyasha Movie 2, I'm pretty sure [as] can pull something better out of there a$$.

Adult Swim isn't airing the IY movie, YTV is.

I'm just beyond ticked that Anime Unleashed no longer airs on G4. I don't understand this at all folks. Anime and Video Games go together. For g4 to deny this is pure folly.

Ever since G4 and Tech TV merged, they've been getting crappier shows to fill the time slots, like Banzai and Fastlane.... bleecch...

I too miss Anime Unleashed, it used to come on every night with great shows like Lain, Dual, Betterman, and Crest of The Stars, but now... I guess it's all gone.

The only show I watch on there now is X-Play.

"The ratings and manga sales were high enough in Japan that they could have just as easily gotten away with needlessly padding the show out into oblivion, before being unceremoniously canceled sans-ending when the series became unprofitable."

Could we be talking about Inuyasha here? I recently watched the entire series fansub, and while I'm a fan of the show, the "finale" was a big let down. Obviously the finale was cobaled together from two regular episodes with a minute of extra footage added to make it resemble a final. Absolutely no plot threads were resolved. The Japanese announcer hinted that this was the beginning on the next chapter, I still hope there will be more Inuyasha made that will bring it to a proper conclusion.

Before I forget, someone said in a ANN forum that Inuyasha may have been concluded in Manga form. Not knowing much about Manga, any advice as to what Manga to get and where to get it for the Inuyasha conclusion would be appreciated.

Finally, a big shout out to "The Click". Dish Network is still showing the old CN schedule through March 26th including new Naruto episodes and no Miyazaki movies. I don't blame Dish for this, Cartoon Network is notorious for scheduling hell, it's almost like they're daring you to bittorrent this stuff. The Click has provided a real service by providing in one place information as to what and when shows will actually air so that I can set up my DVR properly. Thanks!

FMA is ending unfortunately, but that's also a bit of a good thing, because now I can await [AS]'s next show. I wonder what it'll be...

Since nothing has been advertised, and more than likely we won't hear anything until after Miyazaki month, I think it would be safe to say we will enjoy re-runs for a while, I sure hope they prove me wrong.

I miss Anime Unleashed on G4Tech too. At least Brainiac is fun. I like to blow stuff up too. Wish I had the budget they did for microwaves!

I phoned Dish Network, my TV provider, someone in India answered, said her name was Mary, sure it is. Anyway, she took down the info, that I wanted to watch Anime Network. So I am hoping other Dish subscribers are making that call too.

Does anyone have AN, do you like it? Do you feel let down, like I was with the Sci-Fi network? I t has its' moments now, but it took a few years of schlock watching to get there.
