We are going to release the new album, our 4th full album, "You Are There".
The recording took place at Electrical Audio in Chicago with Steve Albini as
we did for the previous album "Walking Cloud...".
The artwork was created by Steven Rey who also worked with us for "Walking
Cloud". And as we did the last time, we told him the images and stories
behind the music and he drew the paintings.
Jeremy deVine of Temorary Residence put the paintings together as art
director and the beautiful package was born.
The album was completed by the mastering mater John Golden.
We would be very happy if this new album brings you an opportunity to feel
something unexpected that you've never thought you have in yourself
before, like the feeling when you encounter a great film or a great book.
The album ends the way I didn't expect at the time when we started writing in
the summer of 2004.
We believe the key (the theme) of this album lies at the end. We're looking
forward to how you would feel and think when the music ends. Are you happy
or sad? Why? What are you going to look for next, hereafter ?
We know this might sound too tacky, maybe too corny, but we believe all of us
on this planet is searching for a reason of one's life one way or another.
What are we looking for in our life?
It would be truly beautiful if our music would be able to open a little tiny
window for us to look into and face this sort of question.
