They're turning it into live action? Whoa! I've been so excited, just knowing somehow that this had to be made into an anime soon. ...But now this, instead? Is an anime even being planned? |

right now and anime isnt being planned so far we only have the 2 live action movies

同映画では、ライトが大学生になったところから描くといい、現在進行形のコミックのどの部分までを描くかは「お楽しみ」（ワーナー映画）としている。 The movie starts where Light becomes a university student. Lが死ぬところまでじゃないの？ and ライトの最大のライバルとなるＬや、ヒロインのミサなどほかの配役は現在検討中。 L and Misa have not been casted yet. Shinigami is CG. 英語ができたらもっと教えてあげられるんだけど、ごめんね。興味あるから見に行こうかな。 I wish I could speak English.

I don't understand what's so cool about a Death Note movie. It's just going to be about some pretty boys thinking to themselves too much.

Maybe if the response from the movies is good, they'll make an anime version.
We'll have to wait and see. I can't wait to see how the Live Action version turns out. |

What I want to know is will there be enough demand to bring the movies to the US? With a few exceptions, audiences don't care too much for foreign films.

if viz can get the movie rights it would be possible i heard viz brings over live action movies more then any other componey.
