What amazes me about this (seen it before) is that the Japanese are perfectly capable of producing something ten times more horrible and tripe-filled than any American "bastardization" can come up with.
Still, required viewing I think. |

What's even sadder is that this was what Sunrise and Bandai were going to bring over to the US instead of actual Gundam originally. They were under the idea that American audiences "couldn't handle Gundam," so they created this kid-safe SD Gundam knockoff instead.
Personally, I find it hilarious (in an awful, awful way) how the crippled token black kid is Guntank.
