I didn't know that FUNimation has accuired the rights to Sakura Wars. I thought ADV was handling the OVA/TV series and such.
If you go to the official FUNimation website, you can see Sakura Wars is listed as an anime series they have. |

I wonder if they got the rights to the manga? That would be a first for FUNimation. The website doesn't really offer any info and www.sakurawars.com links back to www.allanime.com. That image is deffinatly in a manga style.

To straighten things out:
- ADV Films has the rights to Sakura Wars OAV 1 & 2 and the TV series. - FUNimation has the rights to Sakura Wars: Sumire Kanzaki Intai Kinen ~ Su Mi Re ~ and Sakura Wars: Ecole de Paris. - Pioneer Entertainment has the rights to Sakura Wars: The Movie.
