Plot Summary: The Takashiro family carries a genetic curse: They’re vampires, well, sort of. Their condition causes them to thirst for human blood, and Kazuna Takashiro had just found out about this. Now after beginning to suffer from the symptoms, he runs into his sister who he’s been separated from since they were little. Now his sister tries to help him learn to control his urges for blood...
I had this title laying on myself and I never got around to reading it becaues I thought it wasn't something I would be interested in realing. But, I was wrong and it turns out surprisingly good from the two volumes I read. Kazuna is your normal school kids with friends, a girl "love-interest" and was raise by his father's best friend. Ever since he was young, his mother died, and his father left him along with his sister. After reuniting with his sister and not understanding why he was abandon, his sister tells him about the family curse that he's been feeling. Kazuna was living a normal live his whole world and its perception start to change slowly and it's eating him away. He feels a lot of conflict in his life due to the curse that he now knows about. He has drift away from everybody he ever loves because he's afraid of what his urges might do. Feeling alienated from the world around him, his sister is the only person he got left.
The relationships in this book were very interesting. Kazuna's surrogate parents always have taken good care of him, knowing that Kazuna isn't there real kids, while Kazuna try to be a "good boy" to please his parents. Now that he knows the curse, how would their relationship change? Also, Kazuna has to push his feeling aside and hurt the girl he love at school. Will he ever love another person? Kazuna's sister, Chizuna also has someone that like her but she can't accept him because she's in love with her father? Kazuna and his Chizuna have to depend on each other, but does Chizunahave a secret undertaking with Kazuna and want him to replace their father? Why do they continue living the way they are? (These are all rhetorical question).
Overall, I thought it was a very interesting read that is profound at times. The art and facial expression by Kei Toume display a wide range of emotionat. The story is unrealistic but takes a likely situation in which someone in real life can be mentally unstable because of a disorder and hurt someone else... and making as believable as possible. I heard this title was made into a live action movie..anybody seen it? Also for those who read furthur, what do you think of this title?
I borrowed the series from a friend of mine about a year ago, and I really enjoyed what I read. However, I could only read about four volumes, and haven't bought, borrowed, or read anything of that series since then. I would love to get the books, but right now I've dedicated most of my money to DVDs I'm collecting, so yeah. But yes, I really liked this series, it's not widely heard of, but it deserves the attention.

Wilds is a solid evolution of the franchise, and while its innovations don’t change too much of the core experience, sometimes it's fine to just get a bigger version of what’s come before.― For a long time, Monster Hunter was one of those franchises that looked cool, but felt a bit too intimidating for me to actually get into. The plot hasn’t developed in any particularly interesting ways, to the point it’s hard to write anything positive about the show.― The Bakumatsu period, the final years of the Edo period, was an era of great social change and should be a fertile choice to set a historical drama. The mid-1800s brought an end to the Tokugawa Shogunate, a mode of government that had persisted over 250 years, while also...
I think there are a lot of anime fans—a lot of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure fans, in particular—who would love Kinnikuman if they only gave it a try.― A few months ago, when FLOW was on their world tour, I went to one of the shows.
