Before you reply, please read the following:

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if Kodansha was going to publish the last two volumes of Papillon (volumes 7 and 8). Since Del Rey (which owned the title of Papillon) went under, and Kodansha bought them, a lot of the titles have dissapeared but the popular or new titles stayed.

I am such a big fan of Papillon and I'm afraid to see it go since I havn't finished the story.

I went on the Kodansha website and they don't have it posted as one of their titles. I also looked up news about Papillon but I couldn't find anything.

If anyone knows, please post below.

They haven't announced anything. You can see all of Kodansha's announced releases here and Papillon isn't listed.

[PS. Please drop the pink text schtick. It's not easy to read and it's only going to annoy the moderators when they have to go through all your posts changing everything you've written back to black.]

sailorcosmos, although the pink text is not technically against the rules, colored text is expected to be used in moderation and that color in particular is, indeed, hard to read. Also, you should not ever be putting an entire post in bold, as that is expected to be used only for emphasis or to indicate series/movie titles and forum members.

As to your question: don't get your hopes up. In a situation like this, the chances of its release getting finished are very slim, as I don't recall this being an especially popular title.
