I know it's a minor question but I have been watching the episodes and i really hate when a series ends badly... can anyone tell me if it has a good ending or not? Very Happy

Not unless they've read manga scans--the series is 24 episodes, and the latest episode fansubbed is episode 20. Aside from those who may have watched the raw of 21, nobody knows how it ends yet. But, it's been going along so great that I don't see how it could end badly Cool

It's only 24 episodes? Anime dazed I don't see any way they could come up with a satisfactory ending, given all the new stuff they throw at you in episode 20. I've seen series with open endings before, but ending this show at episode 24 would probably leave it with a really open ending.

I think it's doable...all that's needed are 3 major events:

1 spoiler[Winner's grandfather comes in and tries to hunt Karin's family down, Winner flips out and says, "OH MY GOD, Kyaren-san is a vampire, how could I not have realized this??" and stops his grandfather, due to his love for Karin. Maybe a conlcusion of the Maki-Winner pairing arc?]

2 spoiler[ Elda gives Karin the method to become a true vampire, and Karin either accepts or rejects it. My money is on "rejects, because...]

3 spoiler[...Karin and Kenta finally realize their tragic/forbidden love for one another, and this probably has something to do with Karin's decision to remain an Un-Vampire or to become a true vampire. Of course, they could separate forever, but I don't think Karin's that type of "downer" series.]

Granted, things could be a bit rushed, but since the manga is only 5 volumes, at the least we won't have a Fruits Basket-esque "This is the end, but there are 10+ manga volumes out there" type of conclusion.

1.spoiler[It seemed like Maki was awful close to snapping at the end of episode 20. Maybe Anju's bite will change that, but I don't know.]

3.spoiler[God I hope they don't seperate, I couldn't take another total downer series right now.]

Actually, volume 8 of the Karin manga came out recently.

Is it just me or are the spoiler tags no longer functioning? No matter to me, I love spoilers!

I just started watching this series (up to ep 3) and have high hopes for some endearing comedy. If a series is as good as this one seems to be, why worry about the ending? Just enjoy the ride...

I have no idea, but I hope it's a good ending, the series has been so enjoyable so far.

spoiler[I think Anju's blood taste is for jealousy or possibly envy. It appeared to me that Maki was jealous over how happy Karin/Kenta are and then flashes to Winnar's treatment of her on Christmas. If that's the case, Anju feeding on Maki should at least delay or even remove Maki's feelings as an issue. I'm interested to see how Karin deals with Anju from now on.]

Keeping my fingers crossed for a good actual ending.

I stand somewhat corrected; I was going off the ANN list, which shows the recent release of Vol. 1 to be "1 of 5." And Omar, the series hasn't been licensed in the U.S. yet--along with other people, gecko and I watch those evil things called spoiler[fansubs]-- *checks to see if Karin 21 is done downloading*

It hasn't been licensed in America yet. Only the manga has; which means only time will tell when the show will follow suit.
