Hey guys,
I think the digital music issue is probably the most important one for us J-Pop fans right now, and it would be worthwhile to spend some more time talking about it. If you've read the Shaun Iwase interview, you know most of my questions. I'd really like to know yours, too. If there's anything you would like to know about the what/why/how of J-Pop online (on iTunes or elsewhere), post them below and I will try to get some answers from Mr. Iwase or someone else who has some experience in the area. I'm still curious about a lot of actual numbers. It's pretty easy to identify the pros and cons of something like simultaneous worldwide releases of the same music at different regional prices. But the actual real-life impact of, say, cell phone downloads on overpriced Japanese CDs? I'd like to know.
