Dragon Box

the dragon ball z "dragon box" is it remastered and better quality or is the same as it was before

The quality is the same as the domestic DVDs released by FUNi, they aren't remastered. There's also four of them, not just one. At $600 to $1000 a box you're better off just buying the FUNi DVDs assuming you're looking to buy one unless you really want the extras.

The masters used for the DBZ R1 discs have fairly poor Japanese audio and use second-fourth generation masters, which have incorrect (by original standard) colours and zoomed in picture.

However, it's entirely not worth the price of the boxes now, and if you want region 2 Dragonball Z, you're better off picking up the singles, preferably used if you can.
