My Mozilla Firefox started crashing. It happens as soon as I open either newsfeed, or any encyclopedia entry page. Mozilla Firefox window just freezes, I can't click on anything, and I have no choice but to restart it. All other pages (like the forum, reviews, anncast, etc.) work perfectly fine. Does anyone know what's the problem?

This may or may not be related, but I had a bit of a freeze in Firefox when I opened Takkou ISHIMORI's page from the news article. Firefox said it was a script error, and here's the message I got:
Quote:
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: cdn02.animenewsnetwork.com/javascripts/prototype.js?0003479:606

Opting to continue made Firefox unresponsive, until I tried using the task manager to shut it down, in which I got the message again. I stopped the script, and had no problems after that.

I have Windows 7 and Firefox 13.0.1

Right now, I'm having the same problem as Dessa, except that it happens to me on almost every ANN page.

I don't think so. I'm still getting the script message on every encyclopedia page I access, but with different script IDs after the colon, like 0003479:756 or 1965 (those are just two I made note of).

FYI, this is not happening on Safari for me. I'm using a Mac OS 10.6.8, and Firefox 19.0. (I guess I'll go upgrade and get back to you).

Ok, I'm now on 21.0 and still getting the error (606 this time).

I can only think that you have a cached copy of the bad file. If you're still having the problem, force a full refresh with Ctrl+F5
