Used to watch the show when it first came out and just rediscovered looking to meet people around my age that like the show as well. I dont know what it is about the show but its def my fav anime

A lot of people my age got sick of it but I've remained a loyal fan. The show has many things I love: tsundere boys, animal ears, Japanese folklore, occult, and Slap Slap Kiss romance.
Thus I never got tired of it. While it's not in my top favorite anime, it's definitely my favorite Rumiko Takahashi work for sure. Now that Final Act has FINALLY been produced, I am going to watch the entire series again before tackling it.  I spoiled myself by reading the final manga chapter when it came out and I really love how Rumiko decided to write the ending. It made all the sense in the world!
After a friend of mine decided to abandon anime, he dumped all his Inuyasha DVDs on me. I was like WOOT!!! \(  )/

I've always maintained that for the first couple seasons, when it was a fair bit darker and less...well, girly is the best word I can think of, Inuyasha was a pretty solid show. Fun characters, a neat setting, great villains. The show gets written off by a lot of people because it got so bad later on though.

Much like other Rumiko Takahashi works, like Urusei Yatsura and Maison Ikkoku, any given episode on Inuyasha is anywhere from just ok, to decent. But about once every 10 episodes.... there is one that is head and shoulders above the rest.
When I was plowing through all of Urusei Yatsura on Netflix, you could almost predict which episodes were going to be outstanding. And to much the same extent, you can do the same with Inuyasha. |

One of my favorites was ep 13, spoiler[when he first transforms back into a human boy and almost dies while protecting Kagome. And she lets him sleep on her lap.] It got me all doki-doki and teary-eyed. I am such a sucker for romantic drama like this. Also the filler where he spoiler[spends the day in Kagome's world] was one of the absolute FUNNIEST filler episodes of all anime, period. I was dying the whole time.

Im know so little about anime i dont even know what the difference is to manga. I agree though about ep 13 is a good one. I cant remember the ep # but where the Miroku feels up Sango to ruin the moment had me almost crying i was laughing so hard and anytime Inuyasha is out of his element its always a fun episode. I just ordered the complete series and all the movies and final act great deal to only $15

the first 20 or so eps are not too bad. I was made watch them because of gf.
I watched Final Act few months ago because i need to know how it ends. I i think i'm going to order the movie collection because i really like the movie about his father and those swords. |

I am now 22 and I watched it last year and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I'd heard terrible things about the filler, but I did still find it entertaining. I'm curious to read the manga to see how it compares.

I am well over 20 and still like Inuyasha; hell, I even bought one of of The Final Act sets that I reviewed. Definitely wouldn't classify it as one of my favorite franchises, as I find at least a third of the episodes to be eminently skippable, but it has good character dynamics and plenty of points where it really nails its storytelling.

21 and still like Inuyasha. As others have said, the anime can drag a bit with the filler, but it's still a good, entertaining story. My favorite arc is one near the beginning, when Kagome helps a ghost girl on her side of the well. I was actually quite touched when spoiler[she forgave her mother for what happened and became at peace]. When spoiler[she showed up with new clothes, a pretty kimono, and with a smile said her mom made it for her,] I couldn't help but tear up.

Please dont make to much fun of me but what is manga? I just started watching samurai champloo only two episodes in but its pretty enjoyable the dynamic between the characters is good they dont quite have the chemistry yet of inuyasha and kagome but still good

Manga are graphic novels made in Japan. The majority of anime are adapted from manga. Inuyasha was a very popular long-running manga, and because of that success they made a TV show out of it. The anime story and the manga storyline are the same, though the anime added in some short one-episode stories that weren't in the manga (known as filler).

I'm still a 13 year old girl but I don't like Inuyasha. I do like Justin Bieber though.
