No.

This is the perfect time, why rush to make an anime after few volumes? Yo come up only with a half baked adaptation.

Gantz, Claymore, Deadman Wonderland say Hi. This is also the reason those of us that follow Shingeki no Kyoujin are worried about the anime.

Having enough source material to adapt is always better.

I wonder if it'll be a long running series or a 1 or 2 cour show

I guess CR might be picking this up too.. but curiously they haven't picked up other baseball shows

Major, Touch, H2, One Outs, Cross Game, Kyojin no Hoshi , etc etc, yea, All baseball I have seen has rocked too, theres a good reason to be hyped about this.

this baseball anime is different. it's pure baseball and not much else.
Alot of baseball anime is more of drama anime with baseball as background.

I don't mind that. I came to know, love, and appreciate baseball game from watching a few baseball anime such as Major, Ookiku, Cross Game, and a few more from Cross Game's creator
