There never was a volume 1 with a box to begin with. The box was released later with the whole series. There were a few boxes sold seperately, but the quantaties were extremely limited. (I missed out on the empty box myself.)

Dang that stinks. I'll check the mall to see if they have it. I doubt it though.

Either careful searching on eBay, or looking at Used DVD sites would be your best bet.
