I just finished watching Kannaduki no Miko and wow, I'm so speechless....
Even though this isn't my favorite anime it just left me with a WOW feeling after I'm done. So the question is, what animes leave you guys just nostalgic with the conclusion? |

Just one episode of Elfen Lied, I guess. That's a crazy show.

Oruchuban Ebichu left me speechless, but that was mainly because I was still suffering from lack of oxygen due to laughing so much

I bet most of us agree that the beginning parts of Elfen Lied was indeed shocking.
![]() Now for the stuff that made me speechless: Air TV You gotta agree that the animation was ungodly gorgeous so that kept me busy for awhile. Tsukuyomi ~ Moon Phase It started really dark and mysterious, and then the opening sequence was played. ![]() |

I was left pretty much speechless at the conclusions of Kare Kano, Grave of the Fireflies, and RahXephon, though for different reasons. With Kare Kano, it was because of surprise and dissapointment. With Grave of the Fireflies, it was because I felt really bummed out. In the case of RahXephon, it was just because I was trying to sort things out. I still am with that anime. In any case, all of these previous titles were great.
In episode terms, I felt all warm and fuzzy, and thus quiet, after the Grandpa Masa flashback episode in M.S.A. Abenobashi. That was as close to a perfect ending for an episode, at least for me. At that moment, evrything was tied together. A real cycle of life kind of deal. I didn't think such a zany series could have that ace up it's sleeve. |

I would have to say Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade. I consider this movie to have one of the most unique endings of any anime that I have seen. It really makes the viewer think.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan left me without words to express...anything really. Absolute insanity from beginning to end. And that's only the first episode. I agree with Elfen Lied as well.

RahXephon definately, I was speechless all through the end credits, and when they finished and the bit after came on.... I finally drew a bit of breath in.
Spriggan fantastic movie with tripped out plot, a bit like Akira in its wow facter but it had something more than Akira but I don't know what it is and that's why it left me speechless probably. Berserk the ending was... |

Texhnolyze, Lain, FMA, probably Eva when I finish the last few episodes--these are more of the "WTF?" type of endings than the flat out emotional crushers. There are other series like Air, Chrno Crusade, Ceres, Pretear, Scrapped Princess, and Angelic Layer that had me in tears at the ending, for either happy or sad reasons.

Animes that left me speechless and wanting more are:
Bleach and Ichigo 100%. Theres something new about Bleach now that each time they say "to be continued" I have to break someting because of rage and excitment. But before I wasnt really into it. I'd just watch it to watch something, no anticipation of anything. But now it just leaves you hanging all the time. Its one of those shows where each time you have to wait for an episode, you can even make a prediction of it. Or You check the seeders website to look if they finally completed it and you just watched the last episode ! ![]() Ichigo 100% gets you real couaght up in the episode. Its like a Soap Oprea... BUT BETTER! And your always wondering wh he will pick. And then you finaally made up your mind. But after the episode is over.... your jsut sitting there stupid... becuase you were wrong. |

Air was really good but it didn't leave me speechless like i expected it to.
Kimiga Nozomu Eien on the other hand...wow...that series is something else... umm...DC Da Capo left me feeling pretty "wow" at the end, too. For different reasons than KGNE, though. Kanon was amazing, too. I thought it was better than Air personally, but again, just me. And honestly Negima episode 23 and 24 because spoiler[Asuna dies, and none of the viewers really know what's gonna happen, and it was just REALLY devastating when you're a hardcore Negima fan...] |
