I'd rather have the game delayed than his condition get worse. Sadly, I think I'm in a minority. If they announced a delay due to his health I'm there sure there would be an outrage on the internet.

We've lost too many good people within the gaming/otaku industry these past few years. Rest up, Sakurai-san! Your health is most precious, and you'll need it to make even more amazing games in the future. I'd rather wait 10 years for the next Smash Bros than hear news about your suffering.

Man, there were people who were complaining that they couldn't play Final Fantasy XI/XIV because of the tsunami in Japan a couple years back. It's pretty sad to see.

When my dominant hand was incapacitated, I learned to do stuff with the other hand (haha, not that, ya pervs). Now I'm a bit amphibious** and can even throw a football or shoot a basketball with it. Laughing

(** Yeah yeah, it's ambidextrous.)

So to Sakurai, you can do it!

I'm really worried for his health, I hope he'll recover soon. Sad

I don't mind waiting for the new SSB games more than planned... in the meanwhile I'll keep playing his latest masterpiece, Kid Icarus: Uprising! ^^

Please, Sakurai. Take this time to not make this next SSB suck like Brawl.

Please. Just bring it back to the awesomeness of Melee, not Brawl's disgustingly casual, competition-averse mockery of gameplay.

Sigh...but I guess big bucks is more important than integrity.

Brawl was different from Melee, but still an excellent game. Some people take gaming too seriously, not everything must be "competitive"... Rolling Eyes
