One of my geek collections, I've got a lot of Pentax equipment from the 70's & 80's.
Nice to see this happening. Mark Gosdin |

No MSRP is given at this moment, but Japanese photography news website DC Watch expects ¥59,800 (US$659.32). For a camera equipped with a tiny 1/2.3" type BSI-CMOS, it's not exactly a bargain, yet it's still way much cooler than a pimp-styled Hasselblad Lunar. |

I'm actually a pretty obsessive fanboy, and while I'm admittedly usually into pretty simple living I wouldn't mind these cameras. I've even been in the market for a new piece of photographic equipment. That being said, I honestly don't think that I could ever justify a cost that high, considering that I paid only around $100 USD for the camera that I currently own. Then again, my regular camera isn't inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Pentax, I expect you to release a Makinami version and a Kaworu version lens. So when Kaworu's lens connects to Shinji's Unit-01's camera body......
