Vol one of season 2 was supposed to be out in march, and then it didn't come out, and now it's off the release schedule entirely. Nowhere have I read that it was delayed or cancelled. Is it coming out at all?

According to David L Williams, it's still a go. Sadly, there haven't been any re-solicitation dates, but my understanding is that they haven't got the dub work done yet to be able to at least release the first DVD.

I'm frustrated too, as this is one of my favorite series to come out in the last 3 years. Smile

As I recalled, the director of the show is currently doing other works for ADV Films. Without him, the show has been placed on hold until the time is right.

Bah. That's bullshit. They shouldnt have given a time frame then, much less pigeonhole an exact date.

There's an official release date for Volume 1 now, it is on Dec. 31, 2005.

If you got that from AnimeonDVD, that's merely a place holder. It means that while there isn't an official date, it's still expected to come out some time this year.

Really, since when does a DVD release come out on a Saturday, much less a holiday?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I'm a little pessimistic about Kaleido Star's release this year and safely say that I won't be surprise if we see it released sometime in 2006.

Yeah, it came from AnimeOnDVD, and I did think it was a little odd when I looked at when what day of the week Dec 31 occurs.
