Knowning Miyazaki's hate for most technology he must have been sickened upon learning of this "trending...."
But Happy Birthday! |

To be completely honest? When I saw he was trending I got a little scared
But then I found out why, ha. Happy Birthday old-man! And I'm with Luffypirate, Mononoke on Blu-ray! |

Haha, sure the guy may dislike some aspects of today's technology, but I HIGHLY he would have a single negative thought about people wishing him happy birthday on Twitter. (Heck-- even Facebook, MySpace (<-- if that still exists), Orkut, or any other online social network.) I wouldn't be surprise if he doesn't even know it.
I admit, I too was also a bit worried when I noticed Miyazaki was trending worldwide. I just hope I wasn't the only person that visited google.jp expecting to see a decorative Hayao Miyazaki Google logo. lol. |

miyazaki getting older means his biological clock is running out, and I kind of want him stay around forever so I'll at least have new ghibli movies to look forward, but I hope he has a happy birthday. I kind of want to go to that laputa screening, but I have no idea where the toonseum is. I've lived in the pittsburgh area for almost 5 years now and I've never even heard of it guess I'll google it.

I saw it in the paper and I immediatly threw a "touchdown" signal and said "HEEEEYYYYY!". As one of my friends said, "He's a living legand." A Blu-Ray of any Miyazaki movie would be great but Mononoke would be increadible. |

For those who live in Mexico city, there are screenings of his movies, since last month and until 23rd of this month, in the Cineteca Nacional.
http://www.cinetecanacional.net/ciclos.php?cic=1428 I don't live there, but I guess this is a very rare occasion. |
