This is my first post on the ANN form so I'm sorry if I've posted this in the wrong area.
The wine-based manga and anime Kami no Shizuku has created an unlikely hero in the form of a French wine maker who is now been swamped in orders for his wine, according to the BBC. |

Yeah, I heard about that. I feel bad for him. They didn't mention if Jean agreed to let himself be used in Kibayashi's work. I mean, it's great that he has the business but it's a shame that he has to protect his regulars. After all, after the boom disappears, only the regulars will be left once the razzle-dazzle of the manga and drama leave.
I know the manga and anime Yakitate!! Japan teamed up with several bakers, so each one received quite a lot of business when they were advertised. That also means, each bread they made in the book was real and actually produced by real bakers which adds to that 'real' quality which readers and watchers can partake themselves. Too bad Kami no Shizuku couldn't plan for such a rush. |
