Need Info on Blood: The Last Vampire series

Hah, I figured (hopefully I'm correct) since this site is quite into the anime subject, I was hoping maybe someone on the forum section could help me out with some information. I'm a big fan of the Blood series, but sadly I've looked arond on the internet and I haven't found anything on the acutal series. All I've found is info on the DVD, which is the one I own. I'd LOVE to find out more about the series and I would kill to play the game even once^_^ Well, that's all, if anyone has any info, PLEASE>__< POST BACK>_< //cries

Blood: The Last Vampire is an interesting beast. It was an experiement of sorts in multimedia publishing, like the .Hack series.

The full story is only really told if you get everything associated with it - in this case, video game, anime, and I believe there's some novels too. Viz is publishing a Blood manga right now, though I have no idea how it fits into the current story.

I think the game is the real meat of Blood's story, and no one ever announced it for release over here. I have doubts that it ever will be.

Just recently I was able to get my PS2 chip so that I can play games from Japan all the eva, blood, etc. Anyways moving on I found a place to buy Blood the last vampire for PS2, but I don't speak/read any japanese and I am wondering if there are any sites working on translating these games?
Last question, so there is a new Manga being released for this series and so there a chance that there will be an anime series? Thanks

Ah, yes, that much I know of at least. To understand the whole story you have to buy EVERYTHING>_o Ah, oh well, I've read the manga and found that to be quite interesting indeed^_^ As for the game, I really wish I could buy the game, but as you said, I have to buy it overseas. I highly doubt they'd ever release it here in the U.S.Razz Ah well, thank you for the information, more is always welcome^_^ \o/

Well i was also looking for info after watching this, and felt that background info and plot was missing.
After digging around the only thing i found of some use was from a faq on gamefaqs.com from the game which gives a nice summary info. Look under the 'blood project'.

alive.

1995 After the crash of Japan's bubble economy, Sakuragaoka becomes a slum.
Ohka begins contact with the remaining Teraptorids.

2000 In Tokyo, Saya and the Teraptorids are spotted in several areas.
