For some reason my last attempt to post a thread failed, unless it takes time, in which case, oops, i'll delete one, because the forum monster nommed my last one (which was long) i'll get tot he point, i've never bought a figure before, or even been interested in Anime for very long, but one caught my eye, i liked the detail, and it reminds me alot of my wife, for reasons i won't describe.

So this word pops up that i had heard, but never paid attention to "Loli" or "Lolicon", it seemed to attach itself to this figure somehow, and because of that apparently customs can "Arrest" you? or you may never see the figure dur to it being Confiscated, is this really true? i have never put an age on a peice of art really, or even thought of it that way, i am more worried about losing my $88 than being imprisoned over a figure, that seems silly, tell me what you think. Lolicon refers to sexualizing characters who look (but aren't necessarily) underage. Calling this one lolicon is, I think, going grossly overboard, and concerns about these getting confiscated in customs or arrested for something like this are way, way overblown.

Now, there is stuff out there that would probably get authorities to look at you suspiciously, but it would have to be far more egregious in a "child porn" direction to cause that.

Thanks Key, i asked this question in multiple area's on the web, and i seem to get a similar reply. As much as i would like to have it, it would be nice if she came with clothes, i have people who come visit that would freak out about it's content. I do like the Queen's Blade series and ponderd getting the Megahouse Nanael figure, the only place i can find it is Ebay, and i would rather pre-order that Noumi figure and wait 3 months than buy from a hong kong person.
