I don't necessarily see why not. I mean, it's not like we're trying to make an anime out of Tekken or HALO, it's old skool superhero cartoon violence.
What would really be cool is if Geneon's able to hire the actors who were in the actual game to serve as the voices.
Now watch everybody whine and moan because VJ will be horribly mangled by some company whose name starts with a number.

So much for a decent release.

However Genon has the license, that doesnt mean they are gonna just throw it anywhere. Besides, 4KidsTV only shows 4Kids titles, thats it.
I am betting VJ will be on Toonami or something, seeing our main man Tom reviewed VJ once.

Naruto right beside Joe. That would be awsome.

You mean the Tekken OVA that ADV released a couple years ago. No thanks. Heck, I don't really want to see some as deep as Halo get turned in to anime, unless it along the lines of Red Vs Blue.

God, I would love if they could get the voices from the actual game, which sound so much better than the ones on the Japanese track of the anime. However, the VAs would have to not pause so much and speak a little better.

Unfortunately, I see VJ in somewhere like 7:30-9. Wouldn't this be loverly?
8.5-Viewtiful Joe
9.0-Megas XLR
9.5-Zatch Bell
10.0-Naruto
10.5-Some Dragonball

I was actually talking about the levels of violence. I don't remember the rating for VJ, but I definitely don't think it was M. (It's probably that new E10+ that's coming out)

Here's hoping that Geneon can even SELL it to a network.
The first game sold only okay and the sequel sold very, very poorly.

The first Viewtiful Joe was rated T (probably because of the make-out scene in the beginning). The second game is also rated T.

Actually, when you consider the fact that the first game was only on Gamecube until right before Viewtiful Joe 2 came out (when VJ: A New Hero was released for PS2, a port of VJ), the first game sold very well. In fact, it was one of the Gamecube's biggest sellers (though not Zelda or Metroid levels, naturally). The reason why the sequel didn't sell as well is because of these reasons: #1, it's a 2D game in a 3D-mainstream world; #2, it was too niche for the PS2 mainstream market; and #3, by taking away the series' exclusivity for Gamecube, it alienated the hardcore Nintendo fans that make up the majority of the Gamecube's player base, people who only buy games that are exclusive or somehow enhanced for Gamecube (which is also the reason why 3rd party games do so poorly on the system).

That's pretty sad. I enjoyed the first one, and I'm really enjoying the second one.

I hate the channel but for some reason I think that VJ will look good on G4(TechTV).
